Hello everyone!!!!

Tati and I have been in Rio training and playing since the end of the AVP season last September, we had a month off to relax, but we kept up with training in the gym for most of the time because here in Brazil our Tour started already!!! WOW!!! 


Our first tourney was not all that great, we played in Tati's home state, but unfortunately it was raining tons and by the time we got there to play, the courts were HARD PACKED (does anyone remember AVP Dallas '08? EXACTLY!) So it was super hard to get our groove on... We finished LAST!!! BOOOOOOOOO, well i am more than sad to post this, but it will constantly remind us of something that we really do not want to do again, so we keep working HARDER! 


As a result, on the positive side, this week's practice after this tourney, was EXCELLENT, is there a better word than that? EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!! That's all i know... It was great, we practice at Posto 11 in Leblon Beach, we have a coach who travels with us and 2 assistant coaches, practices are great here!! WOW! i never had anything like this before, all this structure. Also, we have two top ranked players who practice with us. Both of their partners are form out of town so they are practice partners and they are GOOD!!!!! Their names are Camila Bertozzi (with whom i played with in my 1st indoors team in 1995) and Val Leao (with whom i played some tourneys with indoors around 1996-98). Check them out! CARNAVAL is right around the corner, and we are all getting ready to dance some SAMBA!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Cant wait! 


But before Carnaval there is a tourney we need to stay focused on, and i am taking my grandma with me to watch me play for the  (but i really think she will be walking around and getting to know the beautiful Balneario Camboriu instead, she isn't a sport person so my hopes of having a fan aren't all that big!) LOL


Well, it's midnight here and i am so pooped from this week, so i am heading to bed now! Hope you guys like this and any ideas or comments are very well welcome!!!
